Their love story in Anna’s words: ” We first met in middle school math class. John is the smart math oriented one and I (Anna) am more artsy and cooking oriented. One of our friends thought we had a lot in common and one thing led to another. We used to spend hours on the phone and some nights we would never get to bed, we would just stay on the phone with one another just living our lives together. Years pass and we realized how deeply we felt for each other. John asked me out his sophomore year of high school (my junior year). We were so excited to date each other for so many reasons, and later found out that we both went through periods of “crushing” on each other but didn’t want to lose our friendship. The night before our first date, John told me he loved me for the first time, which basically made me ugly cry because I knew in my heart that he meant it and I did too!”

Now for all the pretty from Anna & John’s wedding day! They began getting ready at the Omni in Downtown Richmond then moved the party to The Boathouse at Rocket’s landing! The rain held up and they had such a lovely ceremony and reception outside alongside the James River!

Loved Anna’s simple details and beautiful touches of deep red!

Loved that they chose pie instead of traditional wedding cake, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! What a fun day with Anna and John’s family! Was such an honor to be a part of their day!
